The Dafa Mill was established in Kaohsiung in May 1987 and began its fabrication operation at the same time. It is the first in Taiwan to own the largest H.F ERW pipe & tube facilities and the manufacturing technology to produce welded steel pipe of 20”. The mill also equipped with slitter machine and two pipe forming lines that respectively produce round steel pipe of 4”~8”and 10”~20”; it is also equipped with short blasting machine and PE coating line that may coat pipes pursuant to requirements of customers to increase their durability and insulation.
This mill is the first professional pipe & tube mill that passes New JIS certification in Taiwan's steel industry, along with CNS certification and API monogram (API-5L、API-5CT) authorization. Our main products include API-5L, API-5CT and JIS, ASTM qualified steel line pipe and structural pipe.
The Lukang Mill began its operation in October 2015, main production line equipment include forming, roundness and straightness tempering, sew cutting, H.F. welder and M.F. heat treatment, along with online/offline ultrasonic testing systems to ensure the quality of welding.

Lukang Mill has two pipe forming lines and one slitter machine, the design annual capacity is 200 thousand tons. It is able to produce round OCTG, Casing and Tubing with the diameter of 2”~ 14” inch, length 6~18m and thickness 1.5mm to 16.0 mm.
The joint annual production capacity of Steel Pipe & Tube mills is 248 thousand tons per year. The available size is 2" to 20" in diameter and 1.5 to 16.0 mm in thickness for all kinds of pipe products conforming to different international standards.
In addition to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, we also gained the certificates of API 5L, API 5CT, CNS 4435 G3102, CNS 4437 G3103, CNS 4626 G3111, CNS 7141 G3134, CNS 2606 G4060, CNS 6445 G3127, JIS G3444, JIS G3466 and JIS G3452. Hot Coils are cut into strips in slitters, conveyed to ERW Pipe & Tube Mills per the manufacturing specification, pressed into the pipe shape in the forming section, welded by H.F. electric resistance welding, tempered and cooled by post annealing, detected the flaws in on-line U.T., adjusted the roundness and external diameter in the sizing section, slit in the cutting platform to be processed for end facing and hydrostatic testing, and eventually passing the rigid examination and the marking and coating process to be further processed for packaging pursuant to requirements of orders into the warehouse.Production Process
