Claim Procedure Flowchart

  • Serial number and weight of the claim coil(s) (Weight of defective product)
  • Defect description
  • Coil(s) state (Used/New; in use for: piping/slitting…etc.)
  • Photos or specimen
  • Coil site (within your factory or elsewhere…etc.)
  • Pleases reserve the sample with defects and mark the coil number, defect and weight (mark the defect if possible)
Please assist CHS in investigating the case if it is claimed by downstream customer.
  • Please check the label on the coil.
  • As it could be found easily from outward appearance, please indicate in the transportation receipt and take the photo.
  • As it would be found after taking the package apart, please take the photo immediately. (Please include the package and label in the photo if possible)
  • If it was rain damaged, please provide the climate record of the transportation on delivering date.
  • Please reserve the coil
  • If you cannot deal with the conditions as mentioned above, please inform CHS sales department immediately.
  • Not qualified with CHS specification or silent in applicable contracts.
  • Those defects mentioned as follows on the coils which has been sold over six months (product in idle):
    Natural rustiness, Strain aging, Black tarnish
