CHS values stakeholder communication, aiming to convey and disclose accurate, objective, and timely information while listening to stakeholder feedback and opinions. This approach enables CHS to continuously adjust and refine its practices on the path of corporate sustainability, meeting stakeholder expectations and demonstrating sustainable impact. The CHS Sustainability Working Group, guided by the international standard AA1000 SES Stakeholder Engagement Standard, considers domestic and international trends in sustainability issues and evaluates its core business activities. Drawing on the experiences of relevant units and peers, the team identified six primary stakeholder categories based on their importance: shareholders, customers, employees, suppliers and contractors, community residents and non-profit organizations, and government regulatory authorities.
CHS communicates with stakeholders through various channels, integrating material analysis to collect and review stakeholder concerns through sustainability issue questionnaire surveys. Corresponding measures are then taken to strengthen information disclosure content. Annually, the results of stakeholder engagement are compiled and presented to the Board of Directors. The communication and response status with stakeholders for the year 2023 is outlined as follows:
